It's the first completed segment
Like Star Wars, we don't have to premiere the first episode at the beginning of the saga. In our case, the sixth segment is the first out of the oven.
So welcome in Bas-St-Laurent, on the Southern shore of the St. Lawrence. Here we follow the river counter current, following the Route Verte itinerary, which promises nice discoveries. We then enter the Appalachian on a path created on a former train track.
Segment VI is quite different than the others. It's like a well deserved paused in the middle of Québec Bikepacking Traverse from the forest services road. It's an easier stretch that can give some respite before facing the last 2 segments in the heart of the Appalachians.
